¿Que es el Use of English?
Es una parte de los exámenes Cambridge (First, Advanced, etc.) que se trata del conocimiento y del uso apropiado de la gramática y el vocabulario. Se trata de leer textos y rellenar huecos. Esto suele ser la parte más complicada del exámen para mucha gente.
En este curso, tendrás el challenge de subir tu nivel en una semana trabajando de una manera muy estructurada y apoyada.
Lo que aprendas en este curso también te servirá en tu inglés profesional y en writing, listening y speaking.
¿Quién soy yo?
Soy Paddy, nativo de Newcastle en Inglaterra. Llevo casi 20 años trabajando en el mundo de la enseñanza del inglés y he preparado a muchos alumnos para aprobar los exámenes Cambridge a través de clases online y presenciales.
Soy profesor de inglés diplomado con el título Cambride DELTA.

Course plan
Pre-course task:
I'll send you a video to give you instructions on how you're going to learn some important phrasal verbs during the challenge and to explain the Use of English exam
Monday:
Linking expressions - a masterclass in all those words and phrases like in spite of, due to, unless, provided, etc
Tuesday:
Verb tenses - an essential review of the tenses you need to know
Wednesday:
Gerunds and infinitives - Which is correct? I remember going to the cinema for the first time or I remember to go to the cinema for the first time?
On this day you'll be working hard to perfect these tricky structures
Thursday:
Quantifiers - much, many, a great deal of, etc
Friday:
Word formation - Strong is an adjective, but what how do we change that word into a noun? Strength. And how do we change strength into a noun? Strengthen.
On this day I'll teach you all you need to know about changing nouns to verbs, verbs to adjectives, etc
After the course:
You'll do a final exam to check your progress and see how much you've learned!
Remember that you will have a thirty minute homework task each day. Classes will be recorded, so if you miss a day, you can catch up later :-)
